mom is retha mccameron, from missouri and dad is art guglielmelli from walla walla, washington. both had a strong connection to the earth and plants. mom was irish and cherokee – dad, italian and french – i got the best of both worlds. i feel my connection to the earth in my cherokee, an aesthetic from the french and italian and the perspective and wit of an irish writer.
